In today’s time, nothing comes easy! Be it music or even being an engineer. You have to really get creative with your approach.

I started doing my certification from Rockschool in the year 2011 and graduated as the North India topper in grade 8 in the year 2013. After that, I was the guitar faculty for intermediate and advanced students at Berklee certified academy (Alumni- John Mayer, John Petrucci, Quincy Jones…) Global Music Institute where I taught for 4 years and was really able to dive into my teaching skills before I finally started teaching privately and have taught over a 1000 students across the globe. 

If teaching is something that you are looking at then I would suggest getting a certification done because it helps to open up your mind. If live music is something that interests you more, then also certification will help because you get exposed to a lot of different genres through these certification courses. However, the thing that truly matters is your confidence and that comes with the belief in yourself that you are really good at what you are doing even if you aren’t certified.
